Is all the training the Learner undertakes practical and to do with horses or other animals?
No! The other qualifications that go to make up the final Apprenticeship award are Key Skills, a Technical Certificate, and an Emergency First Aid Certificate. The learner is also required to produce a Portfolio showing and confirming the work they have covered during their training. The portfolio can be made up from a number of mediums: witness testimonies; written questions and answers; photographs; work book tests; drawings and illustrations; video or audio tapes; case studies and a diary.
