Haddon Training achieved its matrix standard on 2nd April, 2008
The matrix Standard is the national quality standard for any organisation that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work. It is a flexible quality standard that can be used by a wide variety of organisations.
Information, advice and guidance may be delivered to external clients. This could be in the context of a careers service, learning centre, recruitment agency, trades union or a business training provider. This is called an external service.
Alternatively an employer offering their own staff support or assistance in areas such as skills training, management development, appraisals, promotion and succession planning or redundany programmes is called an internal service.
Whichever option is chosen, the way that the matrix Standard is assessed is based on achieving excellent end-results that anyone working or visiting the organisation will consistently hear, see and experience.
Haddon Training is delighted to have demonstrated that it meets the matrix quality standard for information advice and guidance services.
In order to have achieved this Haddon Training was required to benchmark areas against the matrix standard. The standards being:
- People are made aware of the service and how to engage with it.
- People's use of the service is defined and understood.
- People are provided with access to information and given support in using it.
- People are supported in exploring options and making choices.
- Service delivery is planned and maintained.
- The competence and support that staff receive are sufficient to deliver the service.
- Feedback on the quality of the service is obtained.
- Continuous quality improvement is ensured through monitoring, evaluation and action.
Haddon Training achieved these benchmarks in a wide variety of ways and was therefore awarded the standard..........another reason to use Haddon Training!
