The aim of the course and qualification is to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills required to maintain their own health and safety, and that of others who may be affected by their actions.
As a Level 2 qualification, it is recognised by the Health & Safety Executive and designed to promote good practice, and help leisure riders and those working with horses to identify risks and respond appropriately in a variety of equine locations.
