Whatever your experience we have a course to help you start your career within the animal care industry.
Do you have little or no experience in a working environment? If so a traineeship could be for you?
Traineeships are a part of a Government initiative to help school leavers and young people with little or no experience get their foot in the door and start developing the right skills. You’ll receive training from professionals and build the foundations for a successful career in the animal care environment.
We strive to deliver quality, hands-on training to young people and adults, giving them a strong foundation for a rewarding career.
We work with a range of industry leading employers in the animal care sector, such as: Amazon World Zoo, Woozlebear Canine Hydrotherapy, Millets Farm Falconry, Comfy Critters Dog Grooming, Prickles Hedgehog Rescue Centre and many more.
On top of this, we’re accredited by the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) as a top training provider.

Mentoring is the foundation of all work based learning, but this is the very first time that it has been recognised as a role and qualification. Learning Mentors (LM) support learners of all ages and levels, helping them develop in their new work role, e.g learners maybe, apprentices or trainees, ranging from new starters to CEOs.
- Hound Care and Welfare
Haddon Training has been working with The Hunting Office to ensure that skills from previous generations of hunt staff are passed on to new entrants.
The Hunting Office is certain that part of the future of all forms of hunting will rely upon the training, education and qualifications for all staff coming into the industry, to ensure animal welfare is maintained to the highest standard in the future. It is important for all hunt kennels to take active participation in the promotion of the education of future generation of hunt staff.
