Haddon Training are delighted to have teamed up with The British Grooms Association (BGA) to sponsor ‘Transporting Horses’, a comprehensive guide to travelling horses, based on an initial idea from international competition groom, Alan Davies.
Alan approached the BGA after recognising there was no one stop resource for grooms and riders to get the information they needed on travelling horses in the UK and abroad.
Alan, groom to Charlotte Dujardin and Carl Hester said, “Travelling horses is getting more complex as there is so much to think about with so many rules and regulations. I often get asked a lot of questions about transporting, particularly abroad, from less experienced grooms, which is where the idea of creating one informative platform came from.
“The new ‘Transporting Horses’ is a brilliant go-to resource to get all the answers. It covers every aspect, it looks fabulous, is easy to use and I’m so excited to see it launch as it as will make people’s lives a lot easier.
It is fantastic the BGA have done this to help us travelling grooms get to where we need to be.”
The new platform offers a wide variety of information from licenses to qualifications and importing/exporting, and includes lots of practical hints from experienced travelling grooms.
