Haddon Learner Nominated for the Godolphin Rider/Groom Award

One of our very own apprentice’s, Sean Graham, has been nominated for this prestigious award.

Haddon Learner Sean Graham has been nominated for the Godolphin Stud and Stable Staff Rider/Groom Award.

Sean has worked for Philip Hobbs, at Sandhill Racing Stables, for the last six years.

We grabbed five minutes with him to ask him how it feels to be nominated, what the future holds and how Haddon Training are helping him with his career.

‘It feels a bit surreal really. I never thought I’d be in a position to be nominated. To win would be really amazing and would mean so much to both me and my team. It’s a life changing amount of money, looks great on your CV and opens up paths for the whole team.

Izzy my Haddon Training Assessor is a major help and offers great support. I really feel as though I can talk to her about anything. Haddon always treat you like an adult, offer positive support and try their best to help you.

Who knows what 2019 holds, you never know what is around the corner. I have my own pointer so looking forward to some runs and hopefully some wins too.”

The awards take place in February and we would like to wish Sean all the very best.
