Rowan has been working with animals for her whole career. Moving to Wales in 2004 she joined a pet food company where she worked in a vast number of roles across the whole business. Her longest role was as a farm secretary to a minimum input, conservation-minded mixed farm and was actively involved with the care of rare breed cattle and sheep, 800 free-range hens and a small herd of alpaca.   Here she discovered her love for vocation based learning as, during this role, she planned and delivered educational and therapeutic sessions for learners of all ages and abilities. Rowan gained her BHS PTT and worked both full and part-time as a freelance riding instructor in Cumbria and the North of England and judged and examined for the local Pony Club.  She joined Haddon Training in 2018 putting all this experience into practice as an Animal Care and Equine Trainer/Coach.   Rowan is a self-confessed alpaca addict, assisting with events and crafting with alpaca fibre.
