Pony Pursuits is an inclusive riding school based in Heathfield, near Islip, Oxfordshire. They hold a 5 star licence providing a diverse range of bespoke equestrian activities, with a personalised approach to learning and tailored sessions to meet individual needs.

Pony Pursuits’ philosophy, broke the traditional “Riding School” mould, and have always been committed to being non elitist, inclusive and affordable. Their largely neurodiverse team offer a wide range of bespoke services to both adults and children. They believe that cost or lack of experience should never be a barrier and they thrive on being able to ensure that everyone has access to horses and ponies whether as a customer or as a member of their volunteer programme.

These courses are made for those who found school hard. The learning is done is small pieces and is made for you to understand. You will have support from experienced people who know how to help you and want you to succeed. Everything about the course is made for you so that you can get experience doing something you enjoy.
Animals including horses have been proven to increase levels of happiness and well-being. Being around animals and learning to take care of them enables people to develop skills of empathy and understanding.
