Meet Jade, who is currently completing her Level 2 Animal Care apprenticeship at Stablecroft Dog Care Services. We talked with Jade about her apprenticeship experience so far and her future career goals.
What motivated you to begin working with animals?
“I’ve always been around animals since a young age. I knew that I wanted to work in a job role that would excite me and motivate me to work and succeed. Working with animals has always been a dream of mine, and I always think ‘how could someone not look forward to going to work when you’re welcomed by lots of animals?”
What is your favourite thing about doing an apprenticeship with Haddon Training at Stablecroft Dog Care Services?
“My favourite thing about doing an apprenticeship with Haddon at Stablecroft is that it has built up so many of my skills, confidence and knowledge and also seeing the dogs have the best day at their favourite place never fails to make me smile!”
What are your goals for the future?
“My future goals are to continue working in the animal industry and just see where it takes me! I’d love to get some more qualifications to build my knowledge further too.”
