Making education accessible.

We have designed courses to support children and young people who don’t like to learn in classrooms.

We call these courses ‘alternative provision’ because the learning is done in places with animals, where people learn real skills and get a qualification.

We partner with some amazing companies and charities to run these courses. Please find out more below.

Together we make learning fun.

Our Alternative Education locations by county* (alphabetically)

*The counties below outlines where our partners are based, but other counties may still provide Local Authority funding for the locations. For complete information on the counties that can provide funding for placements, please contact your desired location.

Schools and LAs

Haddon Training can support educational establishments to deliver quality training and accredited qualifications.

Learners

Our work-based qualifications are the perfect starting point for those looking to gain life skills and enhance their career options.

Parents

We have proven experience in supporting people with EHCPs and/or additional needs to thrive in a learning environment.

Alternative provision – what to expect

We offer courses in horse care, animal care, and to help people gain employment.

We can provide maths and English training too.

People who take a course will learn skills to help them in the future.

Courses are split into small pieces to make learning easier and fits each person’s needs.

Courses for everyone

Our learners include people with EHCPs, or that require extra support in lots of different ways.

Our aim is to make these courses available to as many people as possible, so that everyone has a chance to learn.

The cost of the course is often covered by local authorities, who are there to provide services in local areas.

"One of the many things that we love about Haddon is the flexible structure of the courses. Learners can work at their own pace to achieve success at a range of levels. This lets us personalise learning to suit each student’s pace and support their progress over several years."
