Rise Wild: Alternative Education for SEND Learners

We’re delighted to announce our exciting new partnership with Rise Wild, offering an alternative education pathway specifically designed for individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Northampton, Bedfordshire, and surrounding areas.

Launching in September 2025, this innovative programme is aimed at learners aged 14–25 and provides a clear, supportive pathway to achieving accredited Horse Care qualifications at Levels 1 or 2. Delivered in a calm, outdoor learning environment, the programme offers learners the opportunity to build their confidence, develop hands-on horse care skills, and earn recognised qualifications that prepare them for further education, training, or employment.

The course runs over three days per week and is personalised to meet each learner’s unique needs and abilities. Combining portfolio-based learning with real-world tasks, ensuring learners are engaged throughout. We provide both academic and pastoral support, working closely with the expert team at Rise Wild who bring a wealth of experience in mentoring and coaching young people and who, if required, can provide a complimentary and bespoke wrap around educational curriculum and support programme, uniquely designed to meet each young person’s individual needs.

“At Rise Wild, we believe in creating a nurturing, inspiring and aspirational space where every young person can grow at their own pace, gain in confidence, and achieve their full potential.”
